Hi everyone! I started this thread for people applying to the accelerated nursing program at LSU for this Fall. The deadline is next Friday! Does anyone know the application/acceptance rate or how many people usually apply compared to available spots?

Yes they will. They told me that the letters should all go out at once. The deadline for paying your acceptance dues is March 30 I believe, so they don't let people wait long after getting letters to decide. By mid April the wait listed people will know if they're going to get in or not via a second letter. You should call them tomorrow and ask about your letter, someone above did and she was emailed I believe.

Yes, if you live in Louisiana you probably should have gotten a letter by now. I finally got mine today, and the ink on the envelope was faded and difficult to read -- I think that's why it took so long. Give them a call!

Yeah I only live in Opelousas(around 2.5hours away) so I'm getting a little anxious to say the least

I received the wait list letter on Saturday. Today I got a phone call telling me I got a spot! So excited!!!

Hello everyone, I know this thread is old but I am applying for the 2017 Fall class. Can anyone tell me if their prerequisites were accepted from their transcript or did they have to retake any courses.

If you took courses for your previous degree, those count! I had to take a few extra things because I wasn't a science major, but all of my older stuff transferred just fine.

hi fall 2016 care starters - hope everything is going well! i will be beginning the program this fall 2017 so am hoping to gain some visibility on the first few block schedules... would anyone be able to share these? i was able to find block II online so would like to see what block I looks like. if anyone can share, would be much appreciated!

hi there - i am not certain, but in a quick audit i believe my prerequisite gpa was around 3.8. hope that helps!
