I didn’t see a thread for the LSU CRNA 2022 application cycle, so I thought I would go ahead and start one! ?

Hey etx 2009, no matter how long you prepare you will never feel ready. If you feel like you have a good understand of your pt population and their disease processes you’ll be good. Just practice your answers, keep your answers short and to the point. Pick few drips you commonly use and know them in and out. Good luck! You will kill it!

I have mine scheduled for October 15th. But they told y'all that they will let y'all know in 3 weeks? I won't even be done with my interview by then.

Hi everyone,
I received my acceptance email from FranU yesterday at 1:00 PM! Had my interview today with LSU and about 2 hours later they called and offered me a spot in the program.
I'm from Texas and need to make a decision soon. If anyone has any insight on these programs please message me.

Congratulations! I interviewed today as well, but haven’t heard anything. I didn’t have many personal questions which I thought was odd considering they didn’t require a personal statement.

I had one personal question. However, my interview was very quick. I say about 9 minutes!
Same! But I don’t think you could go wrong with either choice!

I also got a phone call from them offering me a spot!! I like FranU, it seems very individualized, but I’ve heard a lot of great things about LSU from some of the CRNAs that work at my hospital. It is a tough program but ultimately I think they come out very competent. I think Fran U is cheaper which is nice, but I didn’t apply to them. I think honestly its up to you either way you come out as a CRNA! I got really good vibes from LSU so I am stoked!
Congrats you two on your acceptance! No phone call for me yet which kind of makes me think I didn’t make the cut ?. How long did they give you guys to accept your seat for school at LSU?

Awesome. I'm glad to hear you were accepted too! Thank you for sharing that with me. I'm going to make a decision within a week.
I'm leaning slightly towards FranU because I would start school this January and ultimately graduate sooner. However, LSU is also appealing because of the later start date. The later start date allows me to continue working this crisis assignment/save more money.
