LSU CRNA 2020

Hello!

I wanted to start a thread for all of us applying to LSU’s CRNA program starting in 2020. Past forums have seemed to be helpful in keeping up with timelines and connecting with one another. Can’t believe it’s time, but here we go!

@jshtoole I don't think I ever received an email to pay another app fee. I only paid the fee that NursingCAS required me to pay...

The NursingCAS fee is separate from the LSU application fee. Once you’ve submitted a completed NursingCAS application you should receive an email within a few days from LSU regarding how to go about submitting their application fee. They won’t look at your application until after they’ve received their $100 fee, which can only be a check/MO.

@David Zaffuto Jr. Hmm, well my NursingCAS app was completed on June 18. I guess I will have to give them a call about the application fee because I never received a separate email from them.

I sent my nursing cas application awhile ago and just now got my email to pay the additional 100 fee for LSU. So I think it's when they finally look at your application

They just cashed my check and I mailed it at the beginning of the month.

I would agree with that. Maybe the it’s how the control how the process apps

Does anyone know/have any speculations as to why LSU wants a picture uploaded on the application?

On nursingCAS it said optional so I did not upload one. I emailed them to ensure my application was complete and they said it was, so I'm guessing it really is optional. Maybe it is to help them put a face to a name when they review applications after interviews?

Did anyone else have issues filling out the practice survey form? My check marks kept deleting as I filled out a new row. I got an email saying they were missing mine so I’m having to re-upload it. Considering just scanning it if it keeps giving me trouble.

I know this thread is for LSU but haven’t seen a thread for OLOL, has anyone applied to OLOL? If so did y’all get an interview? Does everyone who applies get an interview?
