Hi everybody,

Im new to this site and could really use some advice. Im starting LSU traditional BSN program. Was wondering if anyone has any advice about what to expect and what I should do to prepare. Also if anyone is actually a student at LSU that would help or if they are starting in the Fall as well.

he does a fairly good job of it but make sure you bring snacks and he does give you a break and wont stay there for the entire 3 hours usually. but make sure you understand the concepts entirely for his tests

I'm looking at the fall schedule and it says Monday August 15th: New Undergraduate Student Orientation/LSBN application- including sOPH I and CARE XI; fall registration for undergraduate students. For some reason I thought we registered at the pre-advising sessions, is that wrong? I might be out of town on the 15h and I'm trying to figure out if I need to find a way to be back for it, does anyone know if that orientation session is mandatory? Thanks!

I have also been lazy. I finished all my paper work for The June 23 session but I have not even looked at the compliance training. but the email said that it needs to be completed 90 days AFTER the start of your program. so you have a while to finish it. Since school starts on Aug 17. anyway I'll see you all on the 23rd.

We do schedule on the date of orientation. I just went to the June 23rd session. We HAVE to be there on the 15th, 16th, and school starts the 17th. Also we filled out a lot of paperwork at orientation so I assume it's mandatory.

Hi everyone...I will be there Thursday and I am very excited!!! I am guessing that we will receive our schedule for this fall for classes on that day? and get a list for our books? Is anyone else paying for there classes up front out of pocket?...was wandering if we pay that day as well? and do we pay for our parking pass that day also? thanks

If you have Ab Psych, you'll have the Tuesday phys lab, if you're not taking Ab Psych, you'll have the Thursday lab. Anatomy lab will be decided on the first week - they'll give you a chance to make your preference for lab day known.

Intro has been split into an 8-10 and 10-12 section down the middle alphabetically in the past. We didn't know where they split us until the first week of school at level orientation.
