Hi everybody,
Im new to this site and could really use some advice. Im starting LSU traditional BSN program. Was wondering if anyone has any advice about what to expect and what I should do to prepare. Also if anyone is actually a student at LSU that would help or if they are starting in the Fall as well.
I guess they are going to try and do as many as they can. I'm assuming not everyone gets an interview but I could be wrong. -'m thinking if you get an interview you probably have a good chance
Yea im thinking theres a good chance too but I dont want to get my hopes too high. I just hope we dont blow the interview. lol
To think about it maybe everyone does get an interview. It says online that you need at least a 2.8 to apply and have to turn in all the other stuff. So maybe qualified means having a 2.8 and all the other stuff turned in. At one of the pre-nursing meetings at LSU the LSUHSC counselor said that after our interview they will assign points to our essays, gpas, and interviews. Then they will accept the people with the highest combined scores for the three categories.....
Does anyone know what kind of questions they ask in the interview?
Why nursing, why lsuhsc, the biggest obstacle you've had to overcome, who do you most admire, your weaknesses, explain a time in your life when you've had to overcome racial adversity at work or school. Those are a few I heard they used last semester but they may change. The last one's a toughie, tho....

Astros - I have no idea. I'm curious to know if everyone they are interviewing are going that one Saturday! with a class of about 100? (I don't know exactly), seems like they would need more time.
