Hi all!
I've recently changed my major to pre-nursing, and am applying for the Spring 2015 semester this August! I've got tons of questions, and also have gathered a lot of research about the program from past forums and current students. This thread, I'm sure, will be helpful in both easing our nerves and providing insight about the upcoming application process! It seems to be different for every semester. I get attacked by my anxiety every time I question if my GPA will suffice! Has anyone started the application process yet (i.e., personal statement, HESI, etc.?)
This is my first time applying so I'm very nervous. Also, I'm at loss on what to do if I dont get in. Should I continue school and apply again or should I stop school and keep applying till I get in? After this semester, I'm finish with all my pre-requisites so I dont really know what to do. What did you guys do?

If you don't get in, try again for the following semester. Try and get a job at a clinic or hospital, or maybe go for a CNA or EMT certification. Best of luck!
I actually finished all my prerequisite this past spring semester and I put my tops on hold for the fall 2014 and I worked. It is my first time applying as well. So I hope taking the semester off was worth it (:This is my first time applying so I'm very nervous. Also, I'm at loss on what to do if I dont get in. talk to your advisor if you go to LSU talk to Jennifer Smith and she will give you the application and write you a letter so that you can send off to tops to be approved for the hold. They will also ask you to write a brief letter stating the semester and your reason why you are asking to have the hold.ohhhh.. i didnt know tops can be put on hold ... wow thanks for the info
