Hi all, I'm starting this as an ongoing thread from the LSU BSN Spring 2015 thread - For those of us who are applying for the first time, or those who are re-applying. That thread was extremely useful in chatting with other applicants throughout the process whether about prerequs, the actual application, or the interview process. What was your GPA and Hesi? Don't lose hope! I was waitlisted last time too, but I met with admissions and they helped me improve my app.

Got accepted! 3.75 gpa (though I'm currently taking micro, engl 2001, and sociology). I'm a second semester freshman at lsu. 87 on HESI. Congrats to everyone! Don't lose hope if you didn't get in just yet!

Must have been something wrong with your paper or interview. Can't imagine they would wait list somebody with such a high gpa.

Yeah i agree. How do you think you did on your interview?

I'm a very personable person. I don't feel it went bad. I do feel as if I couldve said more things in my interview. Maybe my nerves took over. Idk. I thought my paper expressed my true self. I thought I had it in the bag.

They're going to send out another letter saying that are all spots are filled in a couple weeks. If you're not offered a spot by that time you should contact them and they'll tell you why they waitlisted you.
