LPN's working for plastic surgeons??

Published

Just got my license last week and I was dissapointed when I got the paper today to try and look for a job...nursing homes, nursing homes, nursing homes...pretty much all that is available w/out some prior experience.

I have been interested in working for a plastic surgeon, but Ive yet to see any jobs advertised in our local paper. Does anyone know if its only RN's that they hire? I was just gonna take a chance and send out a few resumes.

Thanks!!!!

Most of the time it is going to be either a nursing asst. or an RN. You need to be able to monitor patients after procedures as well as do them, and in most states that requires an RN license. Same way that you do not nroamlly see an LPN in a PACU(REcovery Room)

I work for a plastic surgeon......I am a LPN

I found my job in the want ads of my newspaper....I have been at this job fo over a year now...I idid have experince working in a hospital and home care.

Keep searching...when I least expected it....it was there waiting for ME!
