lpn wanting to earn my rn

I'm new to this site. I have been an lpn for 9 years and want to persue my rn. I have been looking into it for months now. It's very overwhelming just trying to find a school. Can someone tell me what is the first step to take to earning my RN. I have to work my full time job, is distance learning doable or not? I r/o TCN. Does anyone have any info. about ISU distance learning lpn-bsn? I have a copy of my transcripts, should I try to finish up what prereqs I need online somewhere to see if I can do it. Or should I just go at night toa tech. college? PLease HELP?? Any info would be greatly appreciated.

In my opinion stay away from the college network, way to expensive for what you get and if you are not a self starter with an abundance of motivation its not worth it. For me I need structure, and thats why I am in the University of Phoenix LVN-BSN.
