NCLEX Exam Pass Rates of Prelicensure Programs: PN Programs

PA Programs that I am familiar with:

Practical Nursing - Delaware County Technical Schools program has been in existence for over 35 yrs and is well regarded--recent pass rate decline noted. They are economical and participate in several funding programs. My Mother-in law was a grad of this program.

Practical Nursing Program - Chester County Intermediate Unit has similar program

Many of the Community College programs outstanding with high NCLEX pass rates including Bucks County.

Practical Nursing Program at Eastern Center for Arts and Technology in MontgomeryCounty has both 1yr FT and 2yr PT program, NCLEX pass rate above 85% and tuition listed as $12,000 + additional fees like other programs.

These schools are all located in 5 county Philadelphia area.

I will look for DE programs later today.

Delaware Nursing

The only LPN programs in Delaware that I have heard of are either at adult ed technical schools or through Delaware Technical and Community College, though I'm sure there is more. I am an RN and went to DelTech. The good thing about their program is you can bridge from the the LPN to RN program.

Something to consider though for after graduation, if you obtain licensure in PA, you are only licensed to work in PA. If you obtain licensure in Delaware, you can work in any of the 24 compact states.
