What's the average salary for an lpn in your area?

jeez, you guys are making me want to move. $11-$12 here in oklahoma.

In my area in GA base pay @ 1 hospital that still hires lpn's 14.40 plus $3-$4 shift diff mon-thurs $5.00 shift dif for weekends fri-sun

$16-22hr in Silver Bay , MN State jobs pay more

My Job also pays shift differential

I work two prn jobs while in school for my RN. My job in LTC pays $24/hr and my (new) hospice job pays $21/hour. I have 18 months experience an as LVN in central texas.

Specializes in Acute Care, Rehab, Palliative.

$29/hr plus shift differentials.

While interviewing I've been being told anywhere from $10 - $14/hr. Not very much.

Between $22-29 here in Maryland

I guess you can say its descent to start off with. I plan to become a LPN before getting my my RN degree.

Central Oklahoma here: depends on where you work. I've been an LPN for just over a month. It took me 3 weeks to find a job. It's in LTC and it pays $24 an hour for 3-11. Day shift pays $23. I was offered jobs ranging from $9.76 (hospital) to $18 (LTC).
