  1. Breath! Take a deep breath and try again tomorrow. You have to relax! Anxiety got the best of me during internship. Meditation helps.
  2. Interesting! I like the fact your making the most out of the assignment. Sounds like your adapting pretty well and enjoying the company of your employers. Although there's no place like home, you'll have memories, new friends, and experience of a life time. Good luck...
  3. You guys are so silly! Maybe your body is more in tune with going to the potty during the day(It's a mind thing)...LOL
  4. MIRACLES CAN HAPPEN!

Poor thing. Have you considered doing yoga or meditation to bring your stress levels down? Being short for a period of time I'm sure would only build your anxiety/stress and you don't want to have a breakdown. Try to be patient, calm through the storm, and breathe. Hopefully, your managers will get you guys some help soon. Good luck...
  6. Thanks for the advice. I will definitely keep this in mind for future references.
  7. Dont despar! Something will come through for you. Just look at it as a lesson/review of yourself.
  8. I guess you can say its descent to start off with. I plan to become a LPN before getting my my RN degree.
  9. I bet the wait would be so worth it in the end! Good luck and hang in there.
  10. My goal was to become a surgical nurse by the time I was thirty so I get it trust. Glad to hear that your dream came true. May god bless you.
  11. Good Luck. I will also be taking Micro along with Speech in the Spring. They are my last pre-recs before Nursing school. Im sure we all will be so glad when it is completed.
  12. OMG, I've experienced the same during clinicals. I'm sorry but I laughed the whole while reading this post. She definitely needs to retire or be sent to another department that's less complicated. Hopefully, shes has family and not one of those who doesn't want to be alone or unwanted. At that age they are so set in their ways and behind on ANY upgraded technology. Eventually, though, she'll get the picture. Until then give her some encouragement.
  13. I've actually heard that a lot of Nurses retire early b/c of their legs and feet going out on them. Honestly, I don't care what shift I end up with as long as it's on the weekends so I can be with my family during the week.
  14. That comment only says one thing.....You were destined to be a nurse. BRAVO!
