LPN to RN in Vancouver, BC Canada

Published

Hi all, I am an LPN working in Vancouver BC. I needed some help with figuring out what I should do in the future. I have been a LPN for more than 2 years now ( I know, its not alot) and now I want to bridge over to RN. I feel as though there is not much growth in being an LPN ( cant really move up in the acute care feild). Does anyone know the best college ( are they attending one now or have they attended one recently) that is still accepting LPNs for the bridging program. I tried Vancouver Community College and they have actually stopped accepting applicants as they are booked for the next couple years. One of my friends is going to do the RN bridging at Langara but its a 3 years program. I was hoping for one that is not so long. I cant really move too far away either. Any ideas? Also does anyone know what else can I do with my LPN diploma? I am getting really tried ( bored of working in gen. med )
