I am just starting the LPN to RN using Chancellors ( I knows its really excelsior ) but I am just wondering if any other LPNs are doing this right now, or if any RNs have done this. Any reviews on Chancellors ( please no reviews on Rue or college network ). Thanks everyone!

I used Chancellors study guides three times for exams. Used it for the A&P exam and Microbiology during the ASN and the community focused exam for the BSN. I passed all the exams with a B. I liked the guides and the audio CD's but they were REALLY expensive. I had an old coworker that used their guides for every exam and went to the clinical in Indiana. He had received all B's on the exams but took the CPNE three times before passing. I would recommend the guides if you have the money or buy them off eBay as used. If you don't have a ton of money to waste buy the guides only for the exams that are the most difficult. They can be purchased one at a time, thats what I did. Also buy a copy of study group 101 notes, they helped me out the most for every one of the exams. Let me know If I can help in any way. Good luck with the program!
thank you CrissiQ! What is the 'study group 101 notes? and where would i find it?

thank you! I will watch this. I started yesterday and will see how it goes! thank you for your response!
Studygroup 101 sells notes for the exam of Ebay. I personally found them the most helpful. It's cheap 60 bucks for all the exams and can be downloaded right away. Please look them up on ebay
great! thanks you!

CrissyQ what do you recommend about the clinical? I'm referring to you saying that someone didn't pass after using the chancellor clinical. I had a friend who failed once using the chancellor but I don't think it was chancellor on the reasoning.

I loved the Chancellor's guides for the audio. LOVED THEM! I had a long-ish commute (2 hours round-trip) and I loved it that I could study while commuting. I bought the guides used on eBay, though -- I was not willing to pay full price for those things!!
I actually went to Tina Logan's workshop in PA. She was the best but from what I have heard she no longer is teaching I wouldnt really know who else to recommend with certainty.
