LPN to RN online school? Need help finding one?

Published

Hi I'm currently a LPN and I'm looking to doing a LPN to RN program online. I did all of the pre-reqs at my university here. But I'm looking in to doing it online. Does anyone know of any good online schools? Or has anyone completed a LPN to RN online course?

That is what I was fearing... Do you know this for sure? Because this program is not like excelsior. Excelsior will allow you to do all your prereqs online without a lab component and also does not require any clincal hours. Just that 3-4 day test at the end of your program. This program requires all prereqs with a lab and also requires the average amount of clinical hours that other california programs require.. I'm confused! :nailbiting: (and thank you for your info)

Check with the CA BRN as they have the final say. There is a link in the CABRN website regarding approved schools & programs. There is also a specific statement about online coursework.

Hi!

Sorry, I know this is an older post, but I am thinking of applying to the Hutchinson LPN to RN online program. I wanted to know if you could tell me the average GPA of accepted LPN students? I know that as of now I think it is requiring HESI instead of TEAS.

One of the biggest questions I have is that I received a C on a summer quarter A&P class, combined lab and lecture. This is before my school switched to semesters, but I retook it and made an A in both. My school does not replace grades. This is really the only thing bringing down my GPA to a 3.45. Do you know if Huchinson counts repeated courses, or takes the highest grade into account? Sorry for all the questions! Thank you so much :)

hey interested in this school... i cant find it online??? where is it???

Does anyone know or have a suggestion on which one would be best for someone in Pennsylvania?

Anyone have any info on school that offer LVN to RN in the west coast?? Northern California?

Depending where you are in northern CA, University of Phoenix in Sacramento has an LVN-BSN program.

This discussion strand has more/better info than I have found anywhere else about distance options. Thanks very much to those who have shared tips, especially about LCC, Hutch and Athabasca. Any/all may be viable options for those of us seeking legitimate program alternatives.

I recently discovered that Allegany College of Maryland has an Online LPN-RN Program in Cumberland MD, Everett and Somerset PA.

You can check them out here: LPN-RN Online Program Entrance Exam | Allegany College of Maryland

Good luck!

I know this is late, but I'm looking at Excelsior college. You can study from home and go at your own pace. My friend told me to use Chancellors Learning Systems for guidance and free practice exams. Has anyone used Chancellors and been successful?
