Hello there,
I did some research and stumbled across this site Best Online LPN to BSN Programs | 2
I did Excelsior several years back. Finished in 2008. I'm sure a lot has changed since then, but I was happy with it at the time. I was able to go at my own pace and didn't enroll into the school until I had done all of the pre-req's, so I could finish within a year of enrolling (that was how it worked back then). I remember going through RUE at the time, it's a book publishing company. They evaluated my transcript and said the classes I would need. It was a positive experience all the way around. The clinical was a 2 day thing in a specific area with certain skills. Once you did the skills you were done. It was a lot harder on people who did not have hospital experience than those that did.
Med life Institute in West palm beach, Med life also has others locations such as fort Lauderdale and Naples. They currently have a great LPN-RN Program. You do courses online and go to Florida once a month for clinicals.
I just called and spoke to Met Life. They said they do have LPN-RN but it is campus based and the clinicals are much more frequent than that. Are you talking about an old program of theirs perhaps?
Well which location did you call?
LPN-RN in West palm beach have classes once a month. I believe classes start on Monday and end on Thursday. You would have to do that once a month for 10 months.
All schools have their own schedule. I know a few people who recently completed their ASN from the West palm beach location and the fort Lauderdale location.
Allegany College of Maryland has an online LPN/LVN to RN program. You have to have at least 2 years work experience before enrolling in the program. An Online LPN to RN Program at Allegany College of Maryland
