  1. For me it has to be Pharmacology and by some distance as well. Too much stuff you got to remember. Real test for your memory
  2. I applied for four ADN programs. Got accepted in two and rejected in two
  3. I agree with others here. Your personal experience in the intro is long. Cut it short. You need to write more about your expectations from the program. If you have to include your personal history, then it needs to be way shorter than this and should tell the reader what did you learn from that experience which tells you what to expect from the program.
  4. Many congratulations and I appreciate you sharing you experience. I will be taking my NCLEX in few months time as well. Yes anyone who has already taken it please share how you have prepare for it. Thanks,
  5. Congratulations on getting accepted. If I may suggest you. Got to set your priorities right and never waiver from that. Try to enjoy you time. Sometimes it can appear to be overwhelming but one usually gets past that once you realize this is exactly what you want to do. Good luck
  6. Dating a person from work, in my opinion, is definitely not a good idea. I am just speaking from experience. Although I personally know people who met at work and it worked out great for them. Good luck
  7. Thank you. I am going to implement those strategies which you shared
  8. Hello. I'm planning on starting nursing school for my LVN this year. I'm considering to go to either Dallas Nursing Institute or Concorde. I was wondering if anyone knows about these two schools. Thanks. If it has to be between those two I would say Concorde. Although I've heard mixed reviews for Concorde as well but those same people would rate it higher than DNI. Good luck!!
  9. Yea price wise it looks like a good deal but I would love to hear more feedback from people who are currently enrolled. Please share your experiences
  10. Thank guys. I sent in my transcript and I'm waiting for a response. I spoke to someone today and I was told I should have an answer by the end of next week...I just want to get into the general admissions so I take the pre requisites..I'm confident that I can do well in my pre requisites. I currently live in New York and I suffered from their overcrowded science class room. My biology and chemistry lectures had approximately 100-250 students, I did not like it at all. I'm really praying that God will give me a second chance: I didn't rush back into school since I graduated 6yrs now, because I didn't want to go back into a setting like this and I wanted to make sure I'm making the right decision. I'm married with two toddlers and if I get into the program we are all relocating to Houston. I'm praying that we are making the right decision. My husband work for the state now and he is also finishing up his last semester in nursing school. If I get into he he willing to look for jobs in Houston and we all move there. He is tired of New york's busy life and want to move somewhere more family oriented Hey hope it works out for you and your husband. I agree with suggestions that it's getting really competitive.
  11. If affordability is important, look into the following RN to BSN programs: 1. Fort Hays State Univ ($153/credit) 2. Univ of Texas Arlington ($257/credit) 3. Ohio University ($243/credit) 4. Eastern New Mexico Univ ($203/credit) This is so cool. Thank you so much
  12. I am looking for RN to MSN online program. I am currently living in South Carolina working full time . Any suggestions? Good school with affordable prices and flexibility which allows me to build my own schedule would be awesome.
  13. Thank you everyone; especially DeLynn . You have been of great help. I really appreciate your postings.
  14. "Just because a school accepts up to 80 credits, does NOT mean they will take YOUR 80 credits". Correct Courses one wants to transfer credits for should be somewhat in line with the program. That is how it apparently works
