LPN Prereqs

Hello nurses and prospective nurses! Quick question, for the lpns and former lpns were there any specific prerequisites or requirements for enrolling in an lpn program? Im sure some schools will vary but would I need to take a class ie, anatomy?

For my LPN program there were no prereqs just 2 entrance exams. The LPN to RN programs however have several pre reqs

We needed a computer class which was the only non nusing class we needed.

In my program it was part of the curriculum. First semester we got certified as a CNA as well with some nursing classes.

Specializes in HH, Peds, Rehab, Clinical.

School specific, specifically. My school required that we "successfully complete the CNA course". We did not have to take the exam or work as a CNA ever.

It's state specific.

Our STATE (NC) requires that all nursing students both (1) take the class, AND (2) pass the state exam. You're not allowed to ONLY take the test (challenge it) and you're also not allowed to ONLY take the class.
