LPN, manhattan adult learning center

Published

Hello everyone,

I was wondering, does manhattan/brooklyn adult learning center accepts transfer credits from a Cuny school? The thing is that I am a pre-nursing student at Laguardia Cc and I'm done with all the pre-reqs required but I didn't get into the nursing clinicals, so I am thinking of moving to MALC for the LPN program. But I'm not sure if they accept transfer credits so that I can finish the lpn in less than 10 months as proposed by the learning center? Any response or ideas will be highly appreciated. Thank you :)

I recently spoke with them and they said you have to take A&P and English over again.

But that school is cheap comparing other LPN schools.

I recently signed in and ordered few study guide.

But they hvnt set any exam date for me...

i'm gonna call them to find out.

Hello,

Do you know if their LPN program is accredited so I can use those courses and credits in the future when I plan to further my education towards and RN?

Thanks for any response(s).

I go to Laguardia right now i am finished my pre req's i just need to take the 2 co reqs A&P 2 and Developmental psyc. I plan on applying for the fall. I don't think MALC will accept any college credits. They just want students to follow there own program guidelines.

There LPN program is accredited but i don't think any college will accept there liberal arts classes b/c it is not a college its just an accredited program under the NYC Board Of Education. Colleges will accept the fact that you have a Lpn license from them which will make you eligible to apply for lpn-rn programs with advanced standing but u most likely will have to do the liberal arts classes over.

Thanks for the response so, will they accept the Sciences rather then the Liberal Arts from the LPN.

Thanks again.

No they will not

They wants you to start everything fresh in their school.

And requirement is you hv to be 21 yrs and over.

I recently sign up for the program and I'm waiting for their entrance test details; which will decide whether you r in the program or not. Good luck
