Ok I am repeating the program but decided to go to a different school. I am familiar with both programs and I like one better than the other but the problem is one start in February 2014 (15 months) and the other one in September 2014 (10 months). Need advice on how to choose the best school for myself. I failed out of both programs and it's going to give it one more shot. Any advice would be helpful.

Are both schools aware that you failed out? Some schools have repeat limits even if from a different program. Also you need to do some self evaluation as to WHY you failed out of now two different PN programs to set yourself up for success moving forward and not repeat habits that hindered you before

To be honest, with either program you are going to graduate and finish around the same time...Feburary 14 will be May 15, and Sept 14 will be July 15. Now since you failed out of the first two, I think you should wait unitl the Sept classes start to you can take time to review your information and take care of personal problems you had if you did. By starting in Feb, you may not be quite ready yet to take on the challenge once again that soon. But honestly it is really up to you and how confident you feel about the programs.
The first school I failed out due to microbiology. The second school when I knew it wasn't no hope to bring my average to a 75 even with the passing final grade I withdrew and that was in pharmacology and they both wanted me to try again. I just didn't try right away at the same school I went elsewhere. So I failed out once. As of today both programs sent me letters to come back this year. So I think I will and go back in September and since pharmacology was my area of weakness I will get ready for it so I can be successful this go round. To answer your question they knew I failed out prior to coming to their program but I passed the entrance exam so I was accepted.
If you know where your weaknesses are spend the next 9 months strengthening your knowledge and skills to be successful. There are free CEUs online that you can use to prepare
Thank you I plan to do just that. Since I have all the books already and the syllabus. Do you have site information for the CEU's online classes?
Look at medscape (free registration & free CEUs), nurse.com, advance. Wild Iris has some free CEUs You can google nurse.com CEU or advance nurse CEU ). For most that have a charge you can read the article and view the quiz but not submit for credit without paying.
I can try and post a link but it doesn't always work from my phone
Try this: http://ce.nurse.com
And here: http://www.medscape.org/nurses

Thsnk you very much for your help. If it don't work that's ok I will start with the info you have me so far.
This too: http://www.medscape.org/nurses
Medscape also has a free app, same login as website and you can complete CEUs there also. Plus it keeps track of completed CEUs
Good luck.
Thank you I found the site.
