Nursing Students LPN/LVN Students

Published

I am in an 12 mo LPN program!, I am stressed as hell, have so much homework, i just want to cy!!!!!! Failed one test (A&P) and have some rumor spreading-backstabbing-insecure-gossping girls in my class, not all just 2 of them.

How do you handle the stress of nursing school, and how do you deal with gossiping or jelous people? I can hear them talking about me, always asking what my grades are? Sometimes i dont hear what they say ...but i just know they are talking about me...sometimes they write stuff on little piece of papers so you cant hear them.... Who has been through this?? How do you deal with the stress? And have any of you guys ever failed a test in LPn school?

Thank you,

Much love!!

Ignoring them is always a good idea. Harder than it seems in reality though...

ignore them or put them in there place is always my philosophy.

seriously though, there will always be petty people and "high school" mentality everywhere you go. your only there to further your career. thats it. BS aside its all about you/.

:coollook: first thing you need to do is take a big deep breath. now, relax. you do sound a lil paranoid. in school you will see so many changes in everyone including your self. these people do not deserve the time of day you are giving them by stressing about them. look at them smile and turn away. as soon as they see they are not "getting to you" sadly like any bully-type, they will go to the next person in line. sadly as i am about to graduate i have seen these types and some of failed, dropped out, and worst of all, the worst of them have slipped through the cracks and made it to the end. they will get "weeded out" keep your dignity with them, they are not worth you reacting to their misconceptions. they are just one your lifes lil speedbumps, get over it and on with your education. put your energy into the fact that you can be confident. when you are confident, others will respect you. hold your head up and have fun. don't forget to laugh when your having a bad day, trust me, it helps. good luck.

ps remember that all fear is just false evidence appearing real.

i had to endure a 10 month lpn program and a particular girl in there made my life a living hell, she was unprofessional, stubborn, and thinks that she was better than others, yet she doesn't read her material and blames the teachers for having bad grades. what the majority said is right, ignore ignore ignore. they're not going to give you your paycheck, and you're in there for a reason. that person is not going to sit next to you on your nclex and help you with it. stick it out, and always remind yourself why you're in the program. things will figure itself out. best of luck to you.

p.s. you can always vent here! ;d
