okay, so Hi everyone!

Main point, please don't bash me for waiting this long to do my CEUs, besides being an LPN I'm also a full time procrastinator.

but this is the first year I'll have to renew.

I have a question and it might be so stupid for everyone else but this is the first time I do this so please just bare with me.

I just got my license Aug 2014 as an LPN

Now, renewal is upon us with license expiring July 31st 2015.

I have signed up for an online CEU program and signed up for my CEbroker transcripts blah blah blah.

CEbroker is telling me I only have to do 5 hrs to renewal. Unless I'm going crazy and its something else.

So medical errors, HIV, FL laws, and domestic violence.

I thought it was supposed to be 24 HRS to renew plus the 80$ fee.

Am I missing something here or am I just supposed to do 5 hrs to renewal for my 11months of licensure?

I don't want to be out of compliance with my license as I'll be working with the gov soon. And that's obviously unacceptable.

PLEAAAASE PLEASE someone help me figure this out.

I greatly appreciate all the help in advance.

Your thread has been moved to the LPN / LVN Corner forum where it should get more responses.

In michigan ours is a lot more then 5. I don't know your states BON policy on CEU's but 5 probably isn't right. You could check with the website. It's probably 24 or 30 or something.

No! I shall try that next then!

I'm so confused about all this right now lol. Thank you though.

And yes normally here is 24 hrs and mandatory whatever they send. But I'm more confused for the fact that I have less than a year w my license and have to renew like everyone else that's had theirs the normal period of time. Which is 2 years if I'm not mistaken.
