LPN letter to BVNPT

good evening,

I am a graduate of nursing in the Philippines but I don't have a license because we had to immigrate before the NLE period. I am trying out the LVN examinations but I really need help in formulating a letter to the board regarding my license situation. I will not be able to go back home just yet and I can't afford going to school. Thank you in advance for your response. God bless!

I too graduated in the Philippines last 2011. I was denied by the BON and applied for the LVN instead. Like you, I didnt take the board exam in the Philippines and just moved in CA right after graduation. At the time that I applied for the LVN nclex, they did not ask if I have a license in the Philippines. I got my ATT right away after giving them all the requirements I needed. I remember I just wrote in the letter that I did not take the board exam in PHI because I have no plans of pursuing my career there and it wasnt practical. Good luck on your application!
