I am planning on getting my LPN before my RN because I need to get a job as soon as possible. But, I want to eventually work L & D, or peds. However, I have noticed that almost all the LPN jobs that I have seen are in LTC facilities. Does anyone know of any hospitals that hire LPN's? What about birthing centers? pediatrician offices? I am open to any other suggestions if you have any.
Thank you so much for all of your help.

banner estrella does team nursing-2 lpn's with 1 rn, just unsure if they hire new grad lpn's. the easiest way to go, is get a job anywhere and then when your in school for your rn, get a part time job at one of your facility's you are doing clinicals at. Alot of us went that route, so when you are done with your rn, you already have a job waiting for you:yeah::yeah: good luck

Kindred's long-term acute care hospitals hire LPNs.
Thank you both for the advice. It is much appreciated.

Good Luck and I hope you can keep me posted. I am contemplating if I should do the LPN -RN route. I would be interested to see how this plays out for you!
