Hi guys! I am taking the entrance exam for the LPN program at ES BOCES in 11 days. I have been studying a lot but I'm still really nervous about the math section. Can anyone give me some examples of what types of questions will be on the test? I am mostly worried about the word problems. I'm really wondering about the difficulty level. Thanks for the help!!!

The spilled tea spot bothers me... I guess I will go somewhere else to get my flu shot. I'm getting ready! It's a lot to do but I'm so excited to start!
I have another random question lol. I just purchased the ATI package...is it going to be another $300 for next term 2? (including next terms books.)
You only have to purchase ati once. Level 2's books are a few hundred dollars though. You can try and find them used though. I like mine new because I'm a highlighting maniac lol.
Oh, whew, that's good news!! Now all that's left is the uniform/shoes/socks and I'm all set. Lol!, I'm definitely a highlighting fanatic too (sometimes to the point where they're are actually more words that aren't highlighted then highlighted!)
Is anyone having a problem with the ati part of the homework assignment? I did the whole entire lesson for the "test taking skills" however I cannot seem to be able to do the posttest or find it anywhere! It's driving me crazy!
I just wish I knew for sure if we were allowed to take the test again if we didn't get 100%. The assignment sheet doesn't say anything regarding making multiple attempts =(

I've taken plenty of ati tests over and over. Boces uses ati as part of a prep for taking the boards. It's a way to see where your weaknesses are. I explore all over ati whenever I have a free moment. There have been times when I was assigned to take a test and I had already taken it months before because I explore and i just take it over again. There is also a lot of things on ati that you never learn and that's frustrating. Boces test that you take in class are a lot different and they are much more strict about them. Now I only can speak for what has worked for me and what I have done, if Boces has assigned you something different then you must do as they tell you. On your results page does it say how many attempts you've made at the test? Some do some dont.
I took the first test twice. I made 100 on the second one on my first attempt. I don't think it matters if you take it again because we have to print out the sheet that says how many times we took it. I'm not totally sure though. I'm having trouble with prepu! I can't figure out how to find the class stuff.

Yea, on the time summary it does and on the module report. I feel so stupid because I keep stressing out about not getting 100% I took it again and I actually did worse, then of course I started freaking out because I'm a "perfectionist" and then I took it again and I luckily got back up to the score that I got the 1st time (still not 100 though so I'm def not happy.) At this point it shows that I've taken it 3 times & I don't want to take it anymore because I don't want the teacher thinking that I only got a decent score because I've taken it so many times. Ugh, I know I shouldn't be beating myself up, but I feel like such a loser. This was an "easy 100" there's no acceptable reason why after taking it 3 times, I shouldn't have 100% =(
