Published

Does anyone have info on the LPN-BSN program at University Of Phoenix?? I just heard about it from a friend the other day. Is it online? How do they do the pre-req's? How long is it? How much does it cost?

Thanks in advance!

So I take that as a "no"! Well, they do have an LPN to BSN program and I am definately interested! I guess I will just look into it and see what they tell me..........

Can you post when you find out? I'm looking at the LPN program at Pioneer Pacific and would like to know how I can advnace that. I'm thinking UOP is probably on their transfer list.

www.phoenix.edu has all of the campuses, you can scroll through and see what programs are offered where. I'm not sure about your area, but according to an admission advisor, the campus in California that offers LVN-BSN, it is a campus based program.

if I recall it is three years.

Hi,

I talked to a representative from UOP recently at a career day type event. She said that they are doing a "pilot" LVN-BSN program right now. There is one class in progress at this time and they will not be expanding the program until this one class completes and they get further approval from the board.

I can't remember how long that was going to be, but I believe she said 2009/2010. I believe the program is based out of Merced, but I am not certain. They will be expanding it as soon as they get the approval after the first class graduates.

I live in AZ and to my knowledge they are accepting students for this program as we speak......

Oooppsss...the information I stated earlier is what I had found out about the California program. I am sure these programs vary by state.

The one in northern cali is located in Modesto. This is too far for me to commute so I hope that the UoP in Sacramento,CA opens up a LVN to BSN program.

Anybody actually attended a university of Phonenix campus in colorado how is the program how is clinicals how much does the whole thing cost. I was told 2 years to complete my bsn

Called the advisor.

Few facts:

can take 3-4 years.

You lower division classes are taken one day a week.

When you get to the clinical / nursing class phase it will be two classes a week.

Campuses based..no online classes.

cost is 25K - 30k (depends on prior college credits you have)

1 - 2 year waiting list

They are very scrict with the prerequisites....anything older than 3 years they don't take. This is bs.

Thats about it for the modesto, CA program.
