Maybe they offer different programs in different areas. I was surprised how few options there are for online transition programs, excelsior was as close as I could find. University of Phoenix only had ADN toBSN programs specializing in specifics like business aspects or geriatrics or something. In the end I think that I don't have the discipline to do online classes I need the classroom.
TCN is for your general studies. If you have all your pre recs you can enroll directly into ISU. You may have a few co-recs to complete like world religion and so on. But TCN basically just sells the modules that are needed to pass the clep, dante's and excelsior tests to get your general credits for the BSN program. I will be starting it soon, I'm going to get alot of the material off the web and test out that way. I plan on buying as few modules as possible with TCN.

Thanks for the info. I do have all my general studies done. I finished everything for my RN degree but the wait was horrible so I decided to do LPN then do RN and I would finish before I would have ever gotten into the RN program.
Let me know how you like it, I'm very curious. :) THanks again for the info. :)
You have to have an active LVN license to enroll with ISU. They will request your transcripts and see if you need any additional classes to fufill thier requirements then you should be able to enroll. You may make it to ISU before me. I don't have any thing done I'm starting from zip.... I have to comlete the 1st 10 of 18 classes even before I enroll.

Oh, you don't have your LPN yet?Your classes will go by fast. I will be sitting for the N-clex in Sept.(I will graduate in August) next year, but I like getting a head start knowing what I will be doing so that when the time comes I can jump right in.
I did talk to a guy from excelsioer and I would need a total of 7 classes (2 co-reqs) and the rest to bridge to RN. I'm just trying to figure what is the best to go. I know I want my bachelors, and even my masters. But I just want to hurry and get my RN for now, and then when my kids are in school full time I can go back and finish.

I'm sure this has been asked a million times. Sorry in advance. I want to do a LPN-BSN online, I know CN is a publishing company, and the only college I have seen that does lpn-bsn online is Indiana State University, is there a way of bipassing CN or other publishing companies? Or are ther any other colleges that have a LPN-BSN online course?
TIA :)
