Loyola University New Orleans CRNA

I created this thread because Loyola University New Orleans has a new CRNA and duel CRNA/AGACNP program. Application is open on nursing cas for both programs and closes April 3rd. The school is in pre-accreditation but on track to admit for August '23, if not at the latest January '24.

Hey! So I was told that the program will register us for classes this semester and details will be given shortly. They couldn't register us for classes without the accreditation, and that just happened 2 days ago I think. During the meeting, they let us know it would be a quick turn around so I'm just hoping they are getting everything together for us, and will instruct us on what we need to do. I'm assuming emails will be sent with an update shortly.

Lmao! No judgment here! I have a lot of schools I want to apply to so I'll be all over soon! I started with these two schools in hopes I would hear back sooner LOL. Let's hope we both get in somewhere this admissions cycle! During the information session did Loyola ever say how the hybrid part of the program will work? Like is it online for the first 3 semesters or something?

I love and hate this questions LOL

My science GPA was a 3.0

My nursing GPA was a 3.49 (last 60 credits)

Overall GPA 3.1 (7 academic years, 4 schools, one academic dismissal (first attempt at nursing school) 

Over 40 CRNA shadowing hours

2 years MICU staff  plus 2years travel ICU float (CCU, SICU, MICU, NeuroICU, PICU, CVICU, CTICU, burns unit) over 20 facilities worked, multiple trauma level ones and teaching facilities. 
 

AND A WHOLE LOT OF PRAYER AND FAITH IN GOD.

I got an email telling us to buy books and submit our vaccines, and a really sketchy one asking me for my SSN, but that's it. Have you been registered yet?
