Loyola University New Orleans CRNA

Nursing Students School Programs

Updated:   Published

I created this thread because Loyola University New Orleans has a new CRNA and duel CRNA/AGACNP program. Application is open on nursing cas for both programs and closes April 3rd. The school is in pre-accreditation but on track to admit for August '23, if not at the latest January '24.

I heard we will know by the end of this week! Fingers crossed!

Thats what they said at the end of the interview, hopefully it is true! They have been very prompt so far with their process, very impressed.

Does anyone know if they've been accredited yet?

As far as I know no. I did check the COA website and if they were I think it would've been mentioned in the info session Monday.

They told me at the end of my interview that they will be reviewed in May. If they do not start in August, they will start in January. Those who are admitted into the cohort do not have to reapply or anything if it is delayed to start in January.

How long was your interview? Did it feel rushed?

Not bad at all! Was that just for the CRNA program or the dual CRNA? Good luck to you!

24 seats together. Once accepted we get to decide if we're doing dual or just CRNA.
