I received a blanket email this morning from the advisor letting me know that Spring 2021 apps are now open. Interesting -- they likely haven't even started looking at applications if they didn't consider the cycle to be open yet. Hopefully we'll start hearing in the next few weeks if everything is already submitted.

its been open for a couple of months!

I am almost done with my application - just have one more recommendation that needs to be completed. Other than that, ready! Any idea on how quick they turn around decisions?

whats the deal with the transcripts, I dont see anywhere to attach them. did you send them directly to the school?

guys I got an email today saying that my application was under review and I should hear back in two weeks. even though that's what they said a month ago but it's alright LOL. this program is cheaper than a lot of the ones I had researched honestly

I just submitted my application today but I am super nervous honestly! Have you all already finished all of your prerequisites or are they still in progress? And I received an email from the lady I have been in contact with about admission and I believe she said they will be reaching out to people over the new few weeks to check on their application progress.

I'm retaking a and p 1/2 this Summer, for a refresher! are you from the Chicago area & did you apply to other programs? and does your advisor give you the sense that you'll get in?

I got an email today checking up on my application. I think they are just in shambles right now like every other program around the country.

I know right. did they say yours was finally under review also

Well I have not submitted mine yet. Waiting on my grades from these prerequisites I am taking. Should have everything submitted in 2-3 weeks. When did you apply?

and..is it really cheaper than other programs? 56k?

I just moved here from out of state for work so I haven't applied to any others. If I don't get in then I will most likely move back to my home state and apply to those schools there. My advisor didn't say much to lead me one way or the other but she said she was impressed with my background when we had our second call. So I feel kinda hopeful about it! Are you from the area? Do you know if there are other ABSN programs in the Chicago area?

I applied a month ago. And heck yes .. have you applied to other schools LOL and seen their rates per credit? George Washington and Duke is 90k, U of Rochester and Northeastern are 80k, the cheapest schools in the us fpr absn are in Florida and they all have low first-time NCLEX passing rate
