Has anyone received early acceptance to the Loyola ABSN program for May 2009?
All of my science ones are done except I am currently taking Gen Chem (just took the final last night and I'll get an A in the class) and still need to take Org Chem and history. Everything else is complete.
I wonder what they could be waiting for? I asked Sasha why they haven't looked at mine yet and if it apps are reviewed in a certain order. All she said was " The order of review is not relevant. You should receive a decision shortly."
No idea what that means.
Soooo.... i got my rejection letter yesterday... yey! Kinda sucks cuz I wanted to delay my initiation to the real world after college but I guess I'm gonna have to get over it. It's cool though cuz I got a job offer that pays the same as a nursing salary and in this economy... I consider myself pretty lucky for even finding a job after college. I'm glad I'm still in the field that I want to be in, Healthcare.
So good luck to everyone, I hope you guys have a better outcome than I did, and if not, its not the end of the world. I say apply again and again and agian if you need too.
I know I don't understand the process either. Sasha told me the order of review is not relevant. But obviously it IS relevant if people have already been told they were accepted and our apps haven't even been looked at yet! I kind of feel like we got the short end of the stick on this whole process.
Are you sure its not rolling admissions? I think they are supposed to have all decisions made by Friday. So hopefully you and I will find out soon, tcbsmph.

I took mine to the office the day before the deadline... i find it hard to believe they haven't looked at all the applications since they have sent out acceptance letters. I don't believe it is rolling admissions so I wouldn't worry about that. Do they have any science grades for you?
And I have an organic class but I need to know if i should prepare for plan B, this wait is killer.
