The LSBN has a list of accepted out of state programs on their website. From my understanding the universities have to go through a lot to be approved in this state. I just looked and didn't see Walden on their list. http://www.lsbn.state.la.us/Portals/1/Documents/Forms/Schools.pdf Graduate Level Progams With Louisiana Clinical Practice FAQ
I found this page on the Walden page. If you look at the bottom of the page under the first asterisk there is a note saying something to the effect that Walden can't register anyone into an NP specialty program from any of the following states, one of which is LA. Now I don't know if that means they can register you to their FNP, because I think that's a specialty but it's also considered kind of primary care, general practice. Seems like you probably couldn't go through Walden then practice in LA.

In order to obtain Advanced Practice RN license, the LA BON requires that applicants have attended an APRN program approved by the state --see the list of approved out of state programs here: Approved Schools of Nursing
Individual students can not request BON school approval, request must come from each advanced practice nursing program. Walden is not on the list.
See Waldens statement @ bottom of FNP page:
QuoteEnrollment Restrictions by State
Walden currently cannot enroll residents of the following states/districts into any nurse practitioner specializations: Louisiana, Nevada, New York, Oklahoma, Oregon, and Rhode Island.
Walden is not on the 2023 LA List of Approved Schools to offer clinical experiences there.
Once can contact the board of nursing for confirmation or to check if APRN graduate from Walden and licensed in another state, can one licensed be endorsed to LA -- info not on their website.

I'm currently waiting to here back from the LSBN on their acceptance of Walden University Nurse Practitioner Degree Program. Does anyone know if they allow this program for Louisiana nurses? Thanks James!
