Hello! I am started this thread to if there are others who plan on applying to Los Medanos on Spring 2022 ?

I called the Nursing Department and this is what I learnt:
- There is just one person to evaluate all of the applications and the applications are evaluated on the order they were received.
- The notification to take the TEAS 7 for phase II would sometimes be around May (they don't know exact date).
I applied on January 7th and have not received a confirmation about the total points so far. Hopefully we get a confirmation in the next few days/ weeks?
To those of you who showed interest in joining the group studies for TEAS, please send me an email to:
I have kids to take care of so I usually study in the Evenings or Weekends.
Thank you for the info and I am going to send you an email now about studying for the TEAS.
Update: I got my verification letter from LMC and they finalized my total points to be 65 as well. I am now totally focussed in preparing for the TEAS 7 as LMC looks like my most viable target college. I will soon send the study plan info to the emails of those of you who responded to my earlier posts. I have a couple of friends who were in my study group in Contra Costa College and they will also be in the group. In the mean time: I recommend the following additional resources to brush up your skills in Science and English.
English:
TEAS preparation series by Carolyn McAllister (Google it or search in Youtube, she has short quick episodes).
Science:
- Dr. Matt and Dr. Mike (The videos are comprehensive and really good for Anatomy and Physiology)
-Science with Susanna (Google it or she has her own website if you like to follow)
For Nerds willing to learn more and get ready for Nursing School:
- any videos from Ninja Nerd related to Anatomy and Physiology (Especially good for visual learners)
More videos:
- Khan Academy (really good for visual learners)
-Youtube video series from RegisteredNurseRN
Official resources:
Can be accessed at the ATI website and I also like the Mometrix book that has lots of questions.
PS: I am very confident in Math and Science and only problem I had during TEAS 6 was with English, so if anybody has a good knack of English, I would love to know and hear from you.
BTW: I remember a lot of questions that I had to answer during the TEAS 6 Exam. I am not allowed to share those questions to anyone but while practicing and revising, I plan to focus on the topics that contained the questions.

Hi Sameeer
Thanks for calling the nursing department and sharing all the information you got from them. What resources are you going to be using to study for TEAS 7?
