The TEAS guys don't know the exact date but it will be around June and LMC counselor confirmed with me that they will be sending invitations to qualified/ potential applicants around June to take the TEAS (mentioned that it will be about 10 days after they send the notification that we need to take the test).

would you please  share what did you use as a study material ,any tips will help

and how long you prepared for the exam? Is that your first attempts ?

Thanks,

I studied 2 hours each day for about a Week, I wish I had studied more in English Language and Usage and Reading Section.  I used the Official ATI TEAS study manual and Mometrix. I also did all the practice tests and was scoring around 85%. So the real test is in fact easier than the practice test. I recommend that you have a decent understanding of all systems (A&P), there were very few questions from life sciences and Chemistry. Yes, this was my first attempt. I will take the TEAS 7 when LMC invites me, hopefully around June 2022.

Excellent job! this was version 6 of the TEAS, right? I wonder how 7 will differ. Most likely the same material, but I believe more science.  You should definitely be ready for the TEAS as long as you brush up on your studying before then. Good for you. Did either of you apply to any other colleges nursing programs besides LMC?

Yes, this was version 6. I have applied to 5 other colleges besides LMC. I will have to work hard in English and Reading. I heard that TEAS 7 will probably be very similar to TEAS 6. LMC is my first priority though.

Oh well if LMC is your first priority you can relax because you are most likely getting in LOL your phase 1 score will most likely get you a conditional acceptance. So the thing about LMC is that they have those that are conditionally accepted, which is about 32 I think, and then they pick about 50 alternates I believe with the highest scores from phase 1. Then they invite the conditionally accepted and the alternates to take the TEAS. If you are conditionally accepted, you just need to worry about passing the TEAS. They choose alternates because sometimes people get accepted elsewhere and don't end up going to LMC nursing program, or they just don't accept their offer for whatever reason. So alternates who have the highest scores from phase 1 and phase 2 is who they will call if a seat opens up. LMC is my first priority also, this is my second time applying and I don't apply anywhere else because LMC is closest to my home and I have kids, so I need to be closer to home more often than not. Anyway, Friday is the last day for people to apply, then we just wait till May. I will be chomping at the bit.

Yes, thank you for the information. I plan to study for TEAS 7 around April again and in the mean time brush my reading and English Language Usage skills. I am not too worried about Math and Science. I am sure we will continue communicating in this forum.

so I just spoke to (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME) the nursing counselor and what I told you is actually not exactly how it is done. I explained to her thats what I felt like the nursing applicant handbook was saying, but I was wrong. Just want to clear that up. So they do invite the "conditionally accepted" and alternates, but they recalculate after the TEAS test. SO yea sorry about that everyone. Just contact the counselor if you have questions or need information.

Yes, I had already figured that out from the handbook, thank you for the clarification though. I will be doing my studies for TEAS 7 after they update the material around March 2022. Good Luck to everyone. BTW, I will be forming a study group for TEAS 7 around March 2022. I would love to revise the material with interested people. We will of course do the study revision in Zoom.
