I looked into it before I found out I was accepted to USF bsn program and the program start date in September and it’s a new program that this will be the first year of the BSN program! The lady told me it was a 3 year program but you graduate with a BSN and it’s accredited! So if you are looking into I would get in touch with them now to potentially start in September!!

Wow! I know it is more if starting with General Ed & Pre Reqs. But I have all that done obviously. I guess I would have to call and see the true number. Just wasn't sure if it mattered where one goes to nursing school, as long as it's accredited and pass NCLEX?

I did! I actually called them last week to inquire and they asked me a few question. The guy i was talking to wanted me to come in that day, but when he learned that i already have liberal arts degree, he said that somebody is going to call me to discuss my options, but one did! But i'm still planning to go there personally and get this nursing degree started..But, i'm still having second thoughts, i know it's expensive and it doesn't have a good reputation as the other universities, but, it looks like i dont have much choice..

Is your friend done with her nursing degree at Unitek? I'm curious how it is easy (or hard) for her to find a job. I was reading from other forums that some graduates were able to find a job, but some employers were reluctant or wouldn't hire applicants who graduated from a for-profit schools. I am also planning to just do my nursing degree at Unitek, I feel like i dont have much choice.

That's good then, so are you considering it? I am seriously considering it. I'm still doing some research about them, i don't think they are regionally accredited, i don't even know what that means. But they are nationally accredited, so I guess it's fine?
