Los Medanos for Fall 2011?

Hello all, is anybody applying to Los Medanos CC for fall 2011. I just sent in my application with my fingers crossed:up:

Specializes in Hospice and Home Health.

When did people receive these letters? I received a notification in February, after my application went in, that I was qualified, but have not had any communication since then. I hate to bug them as they are probably inundated with inquiries, but I am a bit concerned.

Anyone receive anything from Merritt College and/or Chabot???

I've received the letter to submit the TEAS score for Merritt (or if you haven't taken the TEAS, it told you to do so). Because I got into another school, I actually don't necessarily know what I have received from them other than this, as I don't care much to find out (those letters are sent to my parent's house, so they call to let me know. At this time, they're only letting me know about LMC stuff). I never even bothered to submit my TEAS scores.

As for Chabot, I read in their thread a while ago that they have pushed back the date indefinitely for sending out those acceptance letters. If I hear anything, I will let you know :)

I received the same letter from Merritt. We had to submit TEAS 5.0 scores (when the application stated it would be TEAS 4.0 required) or take the test at Merritt.

What time did they say they post the results? June 6th right? Those of you that have applied there before...do they post it by name or student ID number? I can't wait!!!

I believe it is by 5:00pm on the 6th. They will post by your Student ID and they list will be on the doors of the Nursing Department. Good luck to all of you.

FYI- those who do get accepted, complete the TEAS and get formal acceptance, they are having their "meet and greet" for the incoming RN class of 2012. It is being held on July 23rd! Also, they have a mask fitting that is MANDATORY on August 9th. So, keep these two dates in mind for when you DO get your acceptance!

Does anyone know if they are still placing your name twice if it is your second or third time applying? I went in on May 27 to see if my student number was there and to also see how many are going to be in the pool. I couldn't believe that there were a little over 700 (couldn't remember exact #) qualified applicants in the pool. I am so nervous, anxious and scared at the same time. Just like everyone else, I am so wanting to get picked and hoping for the best! Does anyone know of anyone that got picked on their first try?

WOW! Cannot believe it is over 700! It is my understanding this is the last lottery where they will be putting the names in multiple times up to a maximum of 4. I had applied 4 years in a row and was finally lucky last years. I think you go in twice if this is your second time. Sadly, starting with the fall 2012, it is one entry regardless how many times you have applied. Hope you make it this year. Post when you know.
