Los Medanos for Fall 2011?

Hello all, is anybody applying to Los Medanos CC for fall 2011. I just sent in my application with my fingers crossed:up:

No luck last night!:( I failed the teas by .5%... I didn't finish the math section which hurt me a lot, but I'm ok with it! It would have been fun to join your class, but I think that staying in the Lvn program for now will do some good! I'm happy either way.... !! :) I tend to look at the brighter side... Thanks guys for the support!! Have fun in the program!! See ya around campus!!

For some reason, I cannot see posts past page 26, though my email tells me there are new posts. I am hoping that by posting, I can maybe fix this, but I shall see..........:confused:

It read on the site that 50% of the people who tested has also ranked that score or lower... Am I reading that right? 50%?? Not sure? That's pretty low.. Stinks I won't get to join your class this coming up semester, but I'm sure it'll all work for the better in my case!:) thanks for the support!! See ya around campus!

I figured out the issue - I had to clear the cookies for this site off Firefox....

Ngarcia543- I am so sorry to hear that. I am happy for you in that you are in the LVN program and have this great outlook. Luckily, you'll get another chance next year automatically, which may time out well for you, and I hope to see you then!!

As for stethoscopes, I splurged on the Littman Cardio III, since I feel insecure about my ability to hear, even though I have never had a problem in the past, even using the $20 stethoscopes. I like it thus far! I have been testing it on everyone with a pulse...lol

Aww, thanks so much for those who replied! Sorry for the double post, for some reason when I posted the first time it wasn't showing up.. ! Yea, I will be seeing all of u around the nursing department coming up here soon! Congrats for those of u starting!!!!:) it'll be a great experience!! I love the program I'm in as well!! Both programs are outstanding here and you will have great people to wok with, both students and faculty!! Good luck guys!!:)

I believe I read they are at John Muir in Walnut Creek and the Concord campus, Kaiser WC and Kaiser Antioch, Martinez County Hsp, Childrens Oakand for Peds, and I think there is another ???Delta??? not sure the name. I read it somewhere, I think in one of last years threads.

Love the weather. Hope it is this nice on Saturday!

Okay, thanks, my aunt works at Kaiser Antioch as a CCRN-II. She has been a nurse for 25yrs:D.
