@Tara.M I'm so torn after going to orientation 😣 I didn't realize they had actual preceptorships as well as some of the other internship opportunities they have. That's a really big pull for me as I'd like to work in a specialty (ED). But the commitment to commuting is difficult. How about you?

What group number were you maybe I saw you LOL I won two raffles well technically 3 😂🙏 whats's your name 

 

Me too! I had thought every school offered preceptorship I didn't realize it's uncommon. I wonder when LMC has their intro day soon. I would hate to do all CSUEB castle branch stuff than turn around and have to do LMC.

@Tara.M I'm group 1, I'm pretty sure I did talk to you! My name is Lara, I remember the Tara/Lara thing 🤣 and yes, I've only submitted what I have to via castlebranch. I think I read LMC does their orientation in early august. It also looks like they don't require as much as EB.

wait yes!! I think you said you were from antioch area right? 

Ah you're right LMC definitely does require as much as CSUEB LOL I don't know if that's a good or bad thing. Would you try and do the concurrent program ?

@Tara.M Yes! That's me!  I would definitely try to do the concurrent enrollment. I'm definitely still leaning toward LMC (if I get in) but I'm not as sure as I was before preceptorship thing came up.

Yes, I did have a client who went to LMC years ago and she had preceptorship in the E.R. She also landed a job at Antioch Kaiser because she became close with her mentors. That made me feel like maybe be worth it to do LMC 🙏 I hope we get in!

Im patiently waiting for the final step...im hoping I got into the program...has anyone heard yet from LMC for the next phase past phase 2?

I received my acceptance email on the 13th last year. I can't remember the exact time but around midday. Orientation was July 31st for us last year.
