So.. I have heard not too much information on this school... I have heard there is no wait list.. has anyone been here, went and talked to councilors, or know any information on this school?

tuition, time u will be able to get in, pre reqs, etc?

Thanks!!

I received my admission packet today-so much to do, so little time!

I received my admission packet today as well and I agree soooo much to do with very little time grrrrr

Do any of you face the same predicament as I do? I have applied to several schools and I'm slowly hearing back from them. The deadline for this packet to be turned in is on November 8, 2013 including the non-refundable fees. I'm not sure whether or not I should hope to hear back from the other schools or go ahead and submit my packet. I wouldn't mind if it were say $50 but it's $200+ that's due at the time you turn in your packet. As an upcoming nursing student, I don't have that kind of funds to just be forking out. LATTC isn't my first choice school, but I also do not want to risk getting into a program over technicalities such as this.

Wow.... just ordered half of what i need and already at 300 bucks.....yikes....

Nursing school is definitely an investment.

Wow I didn't know that you had to pay all these fees. What else is in that package?

-Health assessment (physical & required immunization)

-Malpractice insurance

-Background check

-Nursing kit

-ATI supplemental

Omg! I will die when it comes to immunizations. I hate needles:nailbiting::no:. What about that nursing kit and the ati supplement?

I'm sure you'll do just fine. Especially knowing that it's only a small step to pursuing your future. The ATI is a supplementary for practicing testing for the NCLEX. It's $182 & the kit is $115.

Thanks so much for answering all my questions goldenheart10. I was not accepted for spring, at least not for now, but I'm sure in for fall. Wish you the best in this wonderful journey towards nursing.

You're welcome.

Thank you & I too, wish you well in all your future endeavors!

OMG! I finally found a person that is in the same situation. I have received the packet too, and honestly, very frustrated right now. I hoped to hear from other schools first before I make a decision, but now... I don't know what to do. I might wait a week before I start doing immunizations (as you will need them anyway), and then slowly start buying everything 3-4 days before the deadline, still hoping to get an acceptance letter from other schools. LATTC is a good school, but I hope to get in schools near my house.
