So.. I have heard not too much information on this school... I have heard there is no wait list.. has anyone been here, went and talked to councilors, or know any information on this school?

tuition, time u will be able to get in, pre reqs, etc?

jdc2013- I received an email yesterday from COC stating I was selected as an alternate. I have orientation next week. I'll be going to the orientation & fingers crossed I'll be able to attend there. LATTC has an outstanding pass rate for NCLEX last year, but I really had my heart set on attending COC. I'm still awaiting to hear back from other schools, so we'll see how that goes.

Being an alternate is hopeful news! :) My good friend had accepted COC two semesters ago because she was waiting for her first choice (COC is one of the schools that sends notifications out early). She even went to orientation! But once her other school accepted her, she gave her spot away! So if COC is your first choice, don't lose hope! And you're right, LATTC has a great NCLEX pass rate. You also have many schools to hear back from - I have no doubt you'll get to attend a great school, regardless!

As for me, still patiently waiting. But I only applied to 4 schools, so we shall see how that goes. I'll keep you posted! :)

How did you find out what books to purchase?

Go to the LATTC online bookstore http://www.bkstr.com/CategoryDisplay/10001-9604-92404-1 then pick fall , REGNRSG then the class section...If memory serves me 121 -124 are classes in the first semester. Then select on of the section and it will tell you what book you need. It should be the same from spring the fundamentals book we are using was published in 2013 so I doubt it would change for spring.

no I don't. I searched the fall schedule, school catalog and other post's on here and couldn't find anything on RN119. I'm hoping its just basic gen ed.
