So I know some of the clinicals are St Francis, Southern Hospital of Culver City, and there was one more .. Centinella. For first semester and not a bad way of disorganization for some people because they can pivot easy it was just harder for me because I have anxiety and little things. Throw me off a little. To elaborate on the disorganization it's just a bunch of little things here and there so some exams you have to fight for your points because your book will tell you something different than what the professor test and then they end up awarding the points, but it was pretty annoying having to fight for it. There was a little bit more, but I honestly can't remember. It's been a long time since I was there, about a year

But in that same way, they are also very helpful. The professors are very kind and open to helping with tutoring. I will say that if you guys don't already know, but the entire LACCD district, if you don't pass first semester of the Nursing program with a 75 or above, you are disqualified from not only that one Nursing program, but all of the sister colleges moving forward, so just make sure that when you do go don't play around and actually attempt to do your best (some people took it for granted)

That's crazy! That's practically ALL the ADN programs in SoCal. LOL

Exactly! But you can reapply to that program if you do fail and then you also can't apply to any of the sister programs at all if you do fail. California is very hard to get into and hard to stay in. 😂

How are you doing in nursing school? Having anxiety especially when you have to work with people and taking care of people is hard as heck! I suffer from it as well and get shaky and sweaty. Which is why I'm most scared of clinicals 😅

Honestly, clinical is so much more fun than being in class with your teacher. I'm in my second semester now and it does get better. I would say apply for DSPS because you get extra test time and if allowed, you may get a quiet individual room to test in because I usually get really bad testing anxiety. Most of the patients in any clinical that I've been in are really kind to students as well as the instructors and the nurse that you are paired with. At first it may seem foreign and all over the place honestly because you're learning new information and even a new language with medical terminology.😅 once you get all of the building blocks in order & start your own study habits, it will come easy 🙂 good luck everyone 🥰
