Hello everyone, I am starting a new discussion, where we can share when we are reached for the upcoming ADN Program. I am waiting to hear back from the program as I sent in my application for this upcoming semester. Please feel free share any news. And good luck to all❤️

They really do care about you guys. It's a great program. It's not as rigorous as others. You focus on one class in the first eight weeks and then the second class in the second eight weeks and it's like that throughout the semester however, I would say it's not easy by far. Also, I would start working on your health requirements as soon as possible because Castle branch is annoying with background checks. Take your time and make sure that if you have a job that you are not putting more into the job than studying because it will come to bite you in the butt although it's usually a few chapters a quiz you get tested every week. Clinicals are OK, overall it's a program that at some points are a little disorganized (which is why I went elsewhere) but time management is key and you'll be great. I just have anxiety and ended up in a closer program.

Thanks for all the info Jasmine!
How are clinicals? Is it mostly hospital, rehabs, SNFs, or a mix?

No problem, also I would start saving now for the books because I think ATI is still $550 and then you have Lippincott, which is the most expensive which is about $840. Uniforms are usually like $100 maybe a set or less I can't remember. Nursing Boot Camp definitely helped when I was in the first semester because I already knew how to do a head to toe and other essential things that I would not have known how to do if I didn't go to Boot Camp so I had more time to study theory.

Very curious about the clinicals being OK and disorganized. Disorganized in a way how the clinical hours or something else?

So I know some of the clinicals are St Francis, Southern Hospital of Culver City, and there was one more .. Centinella. For first semester and not a bad way of disorganization for some people because they can pivot easy it was just harder for me because I have anxiety and little things. Throw me off a little. To elaborate on the disorganization it's just a bunch of little things here and there so some exams you have to fight for your points because your book will tell you something different than what the professor test and then they end up awarding the points, but it was pretty annoying having to fight for it. There was a little bit more, but I honestly can't remember. It's been a long time since I was there, about a year
