Los Angeles Pierce College (LAPC) - ADN Fall 2024

Hi Everyone!

I was accepted to LA Pierce College on April 19, 2024. I am unsure if a group has been formed, but wanted to know if others were accepted. 😊 Super excited!

To create a special place for your cohort:

1.   Create a student "Club" for your cohort by clicking on the"Breakroom/Clubs" link under "Communities" at the top of any page in the upper left on desktop or "Breakroom" under "SpecialSections" in the upper right on mobile.

2.   Click "Start a Breakroom Club".

3.   Invite members at your discretion.

You may post social or mobile application links once in a private group. Keep in mind, clubs will not be moderated, unless a member reports an issue.

Do I have to take sociology 1 at pierce? I took all the classes at LAVC and was wondering if I could take soc 1 at lavc also? I also applied to LAVC but haven,t heard back yet...

I don't see it as a requirement on their nursing website, so I think you don't have to.

Does anyone know if we need to purchase our uniforms before the first day of orientation? Also, where do we purchase that?

I went to see a counselor and it seems like I need to take soc 1 or anthropology to graduate from pierce...so I will take it in Summer or something.....

She said that we would get all of that info regarding the uniforms at orientation. Did you all register for the classes already?

Thank you for that info!

I reached out to the Professor regarding when we would register for classes because we would need a special code, but haven't received an email back. I sent that email on Monday.

Hey I made a Breakroom for the Fall 2024 Cohort to join. We can gather a group and keep in touch during the orientation process to help one another. The breakroom club is called "LAPC Fall 2024 Cohort" and I can also invite anyone who wants to join.
