Has anyone applied (or planning on applying) to the RN program at LAHC college? Is there a waitlist that you know of? Any comments, tips, or general info on this school is much appreciated.

Tiger- its funny you ask because I had written on one of the sheets from orientation tha"badge id seahawk center"...and I had no idea what it meant because I don't remember going over that and i hadn't looked at that paper til yesterday. That must mean that we get it at the seahawk center and that I'm supposed to get a badge id. What five classe do we need to buy a 30 dollar syllabus for? I thought I was f'n done paying for this already. You guys are making me feel better though about the reading, I'm glad no one else is near done.

Did any of you get that email regarding N318 being cancelled? Kinda sucks cause I did need to fill up 12 units for f-aid. Also, N318 could of been an easy A. blehhhhhhh

I got the email too. I was a little bumbed myself, thats the course they told us where we would get our extra practice in the lab right?

Jasmine-if you go the nursing website, then click on current students, then first semester, then I think 313 it will have a link to the reading list. I still haven't read......ahhhhhhh I went to get the syllabus for 313 and they didn't have it. Now the book store is closed right? Til the first day? Oh well, what happens happens....see you guys on Monday! Enjoy your last week of summer!

Book store is open 8-3 Mon-Thurs of this week and like 8-1 or something Friday. Syllabuses available for all the classes we need too. I was just there yesterday

oh my... something is definitely wrong with your email account. Email ---- right away to fix this problem. She will provide you with your username and pw to your Etudes module. from there.... watch the 40 minute video and take the osha test... it consists of 60 questions and you must finish it before school starts.

Is anyone as nervous/stressed/yet excited as me??? I feel like I'm gonna get hit with something I did "wrong" on Monday. The annoying thing is is that I'm totally prepared (except for all the reading)...I'm just psyching myself out!! I can't even sleep. arghghghgh. Please tell me you guys are feeling any of this too! I guess at least we're all in the same boat.

Did you take the OSHA? If I have 50 points of 60, I do not have to retake the test because it is 83%, right?

I took it twice, watched videos 2x and got 52 then 54 (87 & 90%) I am debating trying the 3rd time but I can't imagine which ones I am missing...I took notes, rewatched and just can't seem to put a finger on which area I am not getting...oh well.
