Hi there,

Has anyone applied to LAC School of Nursing for Fall 2019? I thought I would get this post going so we can stay informed and help each other through this waiting process! What are your points that you calculated?

I think it’s all week. We pick between Th/F for the 4hrs training.

I think it depends on the clinical site. Mine requires an additional application.

What clinical site did she assign you to? Is it that those who have a diff site other than new general County need a separate application for that hospital’s background check?

Does anyone know how the book scholarship works? I submitted the book scholarship application last month but haven’t heard anything.

Is anyone else having trouble downloading their e-books [to read off-line]? The books are in my vital source bookshelf, but there is no option to 'download' as the Lipcott instructions state. So irritated.

I had the same issue!! Took me an hour to figure out! Lol just click on the book icon once they’re in your bookshelf it should automatically begin to download. Same applies if you’re trying to download it to your phone.
