Los Angeles County School of Nursing Fall 2017

Published

Hey, is there anyone who applied for Fall 2017 admission to LA County? Have you guys heard any news? has anyone called you? What are your thoughts?

I haven't heard anyone say that they haven't been accepted...does that mean that there's a possible chance that they sent out accepted/admitted students emails first, because there's less accepted emails to send, vs the 300+ non accepted students...IDK but this is a terrible:sour: wait...

I already called, today isn't the last day

My friend was accepted today.

Specializes in CNA Resource Pool.
My friend was accepted today.

I feel so low and defeated... After two years I've been applying and getting rejected from one school and another. I thought this year I would hear good news but still no...

Specializes in Med-Surg.
Actually someone with 76 points got in! A couple pages back, her name says Jorie

I don't feel so bad because if I don't make it in this time, next time I am applying into both. I will have my VN License by then and I will qualify to apply into both options. I am not giving up!

If u applied for olive view they usually notify towards the end do not loose hope

Don't feel that way, we all have to be positive! Remember that when one door closes another one opens. This is just a test to see who really wants it. Imagine the student that aced every course, applied to every school, and was accepted but hates being a nurse...Then there's those people who worked their asses off to get to this point to even be eligible to even apply. The person who receives rejection, after rejection, but still continues on with their nursing journey...Well that's us! keep the faith, we're in there, whether it's this school straight to ADN, or a LVN to RN to BSN....stick to your dreams, you haven't gotten this far to give up now...we got this. So when our badges say RN, no matter how tough the day was, we'll remember our struggle to become RN's, and will appreciate those bad days, and our title more than ANYONE else! God Bless Good luck.

I agree with you í ½í²¯!! This was my third semester applying to schools and was just accepted to this one!! All of those rejections just made me want to keep trying!! It's not over yet!!

I hope we both get in, man. I'm sure this occupation needs more males to apply. ;)

Did you get in???

Did you get in???

I see someone w/ higher points also did not get in....

Doesn't follow logic but congratulations and study hard.
