Can I ask what your teas score was?

For the teas a passed and got the 15 points, the number does not really matter they care more about your grades and they look at the applicant as a whole ... some people had higher points than me and by the grace of God I was chosen. And part of the reason the selection process takes so long is because there is actual people choosing and reviewing the applications it's not like other schools that have a computer system choosing.

Congratulations and thanks for the information. I think it's okay to do that, too. Everyone deserves chance. And yeah, I'm against the lottery system, too. But are you saying that people with higher points didn't get in? So it's not strickly a points based system?

It's point system but they also see what u did when in school ... like if u had all As but u didn't work or volunteer then a student with A B and even Cs that did work and did volunteer and have experience in the medical field would be a much better candidate

I see. I guess that's how society thinks. But when I was taking Physiology, we had to do things like interpret ECGs, red and white blood cell counts, spirometry/lung function tests, urinalysis tests, etc, etc. The LVNs were clueless. They didn't even know how to turn on a microscope. I would think that their experience in the medical field would be relevant to those kinds of tests, and would give them and advantage but it didn't. The majority of them failed the class. I just don't understand. A few were very good, but the majority failed. In the end, there were 5 As, 4 Bs, 17 Ds, a few Cs and the rest Ws.

One thing u will learn is that ur grade does not define u ... so some advice for u is stop looking at your grade ... everyone at the school is there to learn and we can only do that together, it is not a competition... the nursing field is a community no one is better than the next and we will all have RN on our badge not A student or B student.
