Hello, I'm almost ready to turn in my application and I'm creating this topic for anyone that has applied to LACC for this upcoming Fall 19. Let's share stats, tips, news and any other useful information for our fellow applicants.

Yeah do you know at what time their office close today? Or maybe they are not done making phone calls

Not sure about there office hours, and also not sure if they’re done calling students.

Thank you so much! I think they are still in the process of calling the students who got selected from the lottery now. But then, some student may accept the spot and some is not. They said about confirming the spot before May 10. I think everyone still has a chance.

Last semester, I called them when I heard that they started calling the students who got selected. That was how I found out; I didn't get into the program last semester.

You can ask that you got selected or be in the alternative list or not also.

Congrats as well! Wow to find out that I even got into the lottery I had to email you them, it makes me scared to even try to call them to find out my status ?

I didn’t make it into the program sO will recommend calling them right now to find out your status for those who didn’t hear back ? I didn’t even ask if I was an alternate but she told me I was not even picked so I assume that I was completely denied I just started crying and be sad.

Has anyone actually received notification that they have not made it into this program ? Or do we have to call because usually schools email your status if u made it or not .

I would like to ask how satisfied the students for LACC fall 2019 are about their program.Is is quality ? Will it worth long driving and traffic ? Should I consider going to LAPC instead of LACC ?

Hi there!

I got admitted in Fall 2019!

Some of my classmates are living FAR, such as in Long Beach or Granada Hills, and they are doing GREAT in classes! I don't know how to answer the question about quality because I did not know how I can compare this school to other schools. Every school has its strengths and weakness, but truly, I believe nursing school is something that you have to pace yourself to go where you want to be.

One thing that I love about the program and this LACC School because LACC Foundation is sponsored us a FREE Uniform, Jacket and Books. It surely saves a lot of money for all of us!

But, if you will considering the traffic for how flexible you will able to attend classes it is OK too! But, remember also, when you will be in the Clinical Rotation at Hospital, each hospital will not be nearly by the school.
