Hello, I'm almost ready to turn in my application and I'm creating this topic for anyone that has applied to LACC for this upcoming Fall 19. Let's share stats, tips, news and any other useful information for our fellow applicants.

Same here well I just called and they said that they called people yesterday and if you didn’t receive a call you didn’t make it into the lottery???? but the lady was using words like « guess » as if she was unsure so I don’t know.... I am sad already!!!!

I had a missed call yesterday from LACC but I could recognize the number and it went to voice mail. However, no message was left ? returned the call but no answer and I left a voice message. Does anyone know if by not answering the call I get disqualified?

I called too and the lady that answered the phone sounded very confused and as if she didn't know what was going on, she said that if I didn't get a call then I was not entered into the lottery.

omg that sucks! Keep calling them back or go to their office.

I know right it doesn’t make sense and I calculated my points and I made the cut score I just want to know what was the score that I got. They are so confusing they should just emails people because it doesn’t make sense.

So I called agin and they told me I didn’t make the 80% cut score ?... bear of luck to those of you still in the lotto ?

I applied for the Fall 2018 Semester (and got in, 2nd semester now). I got the call that I got into the program on 5/9 of last year. So you all might have a bit of a wait still. GOOD LUCK!

Has anyone received a call from LACC? My friend did 1 hour ago and got accepted into the program!!!

I got the phone call from school, too! I accepted my SPOT because LACC is my home school. This is my 2nd time applied. Pray GOD every night! Yessss! Don’t give up all ?✨

Well, it's nursing school. It will likely be the hardest thing you've ever done. And at the same time, the most rewarding. Keep your head down and do the work. DON'T ARGUE WITH THE PROFESSORS!!! Not to say, don't ask questions, but if you're given an answer, take it. Even if you think its wrong. Unless you are being actually treated unfairly or asked to do something dangerous, keep your mouth shut. Make friends with your entire cohort, they will be your family for the next two years. For realz. Ask for help from your upperclassmen, we will visit your class and introduce ourselves. But if you don't ask for help, we don't know you need it. And I promise you, you'll benefit from help.

HAVE FUN!!! Nursing school is just a hurdle we need to get through. Get through and then the learning begins.

LACC is also my homeschool hopefully they call us soon with the alternate numbers...!!!
