Los Angeles City College ADN - Fall 2019

Published

Hello, I'm almost ready to turn in my application and I'm creating this topic for anyone that has applied to LACC for this upcoming Fall 19. Let's share stats, tips, news and any other useful information for our fellow applicants.

I also applied for Fall 2019 - the application deadline was last Friday (3/22) and now the waiting game begins. I also saw someone post a link to DeAnza's Chancellor's Formula Worksheet where they said it was pretty accurate. I did mine and it was accurate as well.

DeAnza College <--- scroll all the way to the bottom for the worksheet.

Good luck everyone!

Thank you for that formula! I already turned in my application... indeed the waiting game has begun.

Have anyone heard anything yet? I am trying to call them, but I called several times and no one picks up the phone. It always went straight to the voice mail.

I haven't heard anything either, I think it's just the waiting game now. When I went to drop off my application the lady that helped me said that they were trying to get a new receptionist and that's why it's been hard to get a hold of someone in the office and we always get their voice mail.

I applied for the Fall 2018 Semester (and got in, 2nd semester now). I got the call that I got into the program on 5/9 of last year. So you all might have a bit of a wait still. GOOD LUCK!

Did you get a mail or just a call that said you are in?

I eventually got both. But I got a phone call first. Then they call the alternates.

cooL. Would you share your stat you had it before? I know they selected by randomly, but its sound not. I think they consider Gpa and TEAS

If you hit the cut score, and they tell you if you do, then it is 100% lottery. A friend of mine had a higher GPA and TEAS and he was waitlisted. He did get in as well.

I haven't been able to get a hold of someone at the nursing department, and I didn't get a call saying I was placed in the lottery.

Did anyone get a call saying that they were being placed in the lottery?
